Wimbledon Dogs - help!

I posted a thread in GC a little while ago, but got no replies, think you chaps might prove mroe knowledgable on such things .... :ok I'm planning a stag do in London in April, and think Wimbledon dogs could be a great way of spending the evening (AFAIK this is now the only dog track in London?)..... So, has anyone ever been? Thinking of getting some sort of package and sponsoring a race .... has anyone done this before? Looking at an executive suite (depending on numbers) so will be interested to know anyones thoughts .... Also, and a crucial factor id how hard/easy it to get to/from from central London? Are there pre-bookable taxis available? Tube etc. Any advice/thoughts will be greatly appreciated. :) :ok

There's Romford too. Have been to Wimbledon and Romford, but not recently - but found Wimbledon pretty poor and run down - I got the impression it was more designed for the speedway (??) than the dogs :unsure My recollections of Romford were that it was a better track/evening out
