Eurovision 2009

[Crouch Potato]

Normally I can find a pretty strong fancy after listening to the first few favs, but this year nothing :unsure Norway looks a massive lay to me, I can't fathom how it's favourite, and the new voting system certainly isn't going to do it any favours. I don't really lay though, but it's short price might add some value if I could find something I liked. Greece Formulaic Eurovision, song isn't really catchy enough to work and again don't see new voting system giving it any favours. Malta looks ok. Chiara has entered before and finished top 3 (like Dima Bilan). It's an ok song and of the favourites it's the one I can most likely see winning. Still, I don't really like it that much. UK If I hear the words my time one more time I'm gonna kill something. Did Andrew Lloyd Webber really compose this? It's crap. Turkey and Azerbaijan are ok, but neither jump out at me (though Azerbaijan seems a possibility still). Anyway, the only song I am really interested in so far is Lose Control by Waldo's People (Finland). IMO it's the most catchy tune and given some of the odds for the bigger favourites I cannot work out why its 70s. Anyone else able to help me figure this out?
