SADLER'S STAR 1.50 Wetherby. 2 point win Super Nap. Has the form to go close and with dropping down a little in grade, he does look sure to be involved in the finish. The trip and ground's not a problem and I cannot see any rival improving more than expected to cause a surprise from the lesser lights. Good jockey for this type of event and looks a good bet to me.

Trainer and jockey combo of J Howard Johnson and Denis O'Regan must be respected here. This is where they do most of their runnings and being PU lto still keeps their runners in the contest. Johnson's 18% Strike rate over hurdles from 121 runs is very good. Santo Stefano was PU lto but did have a solid effort before that at Newcastle last year. He was 1 1/4L in third of 16 runners. Bumpers are good for 323. Dropped in Class from 3 to 5 is a big help. Trip lto was too far (2m3f110y) as he ran out of gas at 2 out so drop back to 2m should suit.
