Hi all, I have watched this forum with great interest over the months and have finally given in and decided to try one.. I'm using paddypower for various reasons... I will start with a bank of 5 and only ever risk up to 60% of the bank - I'm concentrating on over 0.5 goals but do give myself licence to deviate - especially in-running. First bet:

Re: sub 1.05 glory hunt First off :welcome, and good luck :hope Problem with power is that compared to Betfair on nearly all markets the value is way out of line, especially on the 1+/over0.5 bet . Odds vary from say 1.09 to 1.12 at Betfair for your average game , where at power the best you get 1.03 !! Usually 1.02 or even 1.01 !! Now a winners a winner you may think , but say you do 50 winning bets at Betfair @ average 1.09 , you`d need to do 150+ at power to get the same return ! Itr all depends what your in the bet for tbh . I do the teams +2 in my thread at the minute , just because its very safe for me , and theres no comparison anywhere else ,but i do take what i feel are the best value options even at these odds . For example ,a few days ago , arsenal were 1.01 with a 2 start and were 1/5 just to win , but preston were also 1.01 with a 2 goal start , yet where 1.72 to win their game - now i know which bet id take every day of the week !! For obvious reasons there was a much bigger chance of preston losing by 2 than arsenal , yet they were the same odds . Grim :ok PS Ive just checked and Villa over 0.5 is 1.11 !! Thats a massive difference
