Re: Rugby Union - Super 14 Week One Not the easiest set of fixtures to start with Highlanders / Brumbies, Stormers / Sharks and Force / Blues are the ones that make me think. Brumbies should take care of the Highlanders, but home advantage gives me a slight reason for a pause. Force / Blues - If the Blues are serious about mounting a challange then they have to win in places like Perth. Frankly I don't think they have the game to do it, and quite often start cold on teh road. Hoem win for me. Lions / Cheetahs - Home win I think Crusaders / Chiefs - Home win, The Hamilton boys are lacking in class all round and will be spanked in Christchurch. Hurricanes / Waratahs - Will be tight first half, but expect the home to find space and get home in the second. Stormers / Sharks - Sharks are my picks for the title, expect them to get home in a close match. Bulls / Reds - Queensland are the weakest Australian team for me. No way do they win in South Africa. 15pt+ defeat, will take home team on the spread.
