Samba_SamPa
Dear Player, Welcome to your February Newsletter. This is special one, as it is going to be last from Poker Trillion as on Monday will become Rockem Poker. It sounds drastic, but Rockem is also on the ELG network and on 2nd February when you double click the PT icon on your desktop the software will auto update and become Rockem Poker. You can then log in with exactly the same details you currently use on PT and your full balances including, real money, poker points and play money will have migrated over. This link is to the FAQ page about the change, but I s hall highlight the benefits you can look forward to below as well. New Benefits and Features Some things have been a long time waiting, but when we launch Rockem we are delighted to now offer a Flash client, so those who cannot download or use a Mac can now play poker with us. Our UK players will be delighted to hear we can now accept Maestro directly. No need to muck about going through Money Bookers any more. We are re-introducing Rakeback We listed when you said you didn't like it when we removed Rakeback, and we also know many of you found it hard to earn your reload bonuses. So starting on 2nd Feb, all players will earn 25% Rakeback. It will be paid weekly and there will be no deductions made. The minimum Rakeback payment is $10. We are keeping Player Points. In fact we are expanding them. As well as Rakeback, you will also continue to earn 10PP for ever y $1 you rake, but after listening to your feedback, we will now feature a range of smaller buy in live events at the new rate of 50PP per $1 of entry. This has an equivalent value as an additional 20% Rakeback. We have kept the 2009 WSOP at 35PP per $1, as we know many of you are saving up for this. If you don't care for live events you can boost your rakeback via Hard Cash for another 5% or you can use your points online for our range of Freerolls and Satellites, including the monthly $5000 Freeroll. Special $1000 Freeroll As a welcome and a thank you to all of our members, we are running a $1000 Freeroll on Saturday 7th February. There is no password or pre play requirement; however numbers are limited to 1500, so make sure you register as soon as you can after the 2nd. What stays the same? Everything else! Including the $50,000 Poker League (Jan winners will be paid into their Rockem account before 10th February, our guaranteed games and our range of satellites, including the twice daily WSOP Freerolls. We are actually adding a new range of steps (to the 3rd tag) for the Olympic Casino events, where winners can choose to play in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania or Poland. I am also staying on as Operations Manager at Rockem Poker and will be delighted to continue to serve you all. Time for your 1st Deposit? We are keeping our 50% Instant Cash Bonus with your 1st deposit, so use code '100NOW' with your 1st deposit for an instant 50% bonus up to $100.* Unlike regular bonuses, this does not have to be earned and will be in your bankroll immediately to use. Your 25% Rakeback and Player Points are all in addition to this bonus! So, if you have any questions about the change, please read our FAQ page. If you still need some help or have just forgotten your login details, then speak to our 24/7 Live Support or email [email protected] See you at the tables! Washman
Re: End Of Poker Trillion In Current Guise I've already deleted the Trillion software from my laptap, and won't be touching the 'new' company with a bargepole, no matter how safe player deposits may be. Perhaps now we can be free to have a discussion on the whole situation - I read part of the thread on another forum whilst in Australia, and have skim-read the rest of it today. I am extremely disappointed in the stance PL has taken on this issue. Whilst you do own the site Paul, and if PT did owe PL money then thats your concern, but to claim that it is of no concern to your members is a blinkered view. I thought the idea of a forum was to be a community - if a poker site is holding out on PL, surely we should be given the facts to make our own well-informed decisions about the site. I also believe that in situations like this, competing forums should stand together, and support each other. Some members of PL have suffered in the past from the collapse of other poker sites - fortunately this time it looks like every player's cash is safe, but I have no desire to take a risk when there are planty of reliable sites available. I would be interested to see what others think??
kippe6
Re: End Of Poker Trillion In Current Guise you cant fault the loyalty of PL, Paul told us to shut up not in as many words but we did.people do need to know these things some may have large amounts of money sat in small skin sites that are going down the pan none of them say anything most of them just fade away with your money never to be found T6 poker did this not long ago

If we make the direct comparison between PokerTrillion and Microgaming/tusk though, then PokerTrillion/ELG is streets ahead - if players get out of this without anyone losing funds (as would seem to be the case) then it appears that they are far more trustworthy than Microgaming :unsure

I was more disappointed at the person being banned for bringing it to our attention, someone who is a very respected member of blonde and an all round good guy. As for Trillion if people lose money, which I'm guessing they will not, it should make them think twice about depositing money in new start ups that promise you riches. If players just stuck to the core trusted sites and concentrated on building a roll instead of whoring themselves to any site that offers them some value, then they will never get their fingers burnt. PGremlin
Re: End Of Poker Trillion In Current Guise A 1k freeroll won't be enough to seduce me to try the new site. Also that network has really low traffic. But I have never had a real problem with payout with Trillion before, maybe because I used Neteller? I guess I could be tempted to give it a shot if there was a better deal, like an PL exclusive :ok

voiceofjoe
Re: End Of Poker Trillion In Current Guise Mmmmm..... reading the article makes me think (hope) we'll still get our winnings. But they've stopped me withdrawing currently for this reason <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> Dear martyn, I am contacting you with your requested payout. As per our FreeRoll Policy, without prior deposit, the required amount of Poker Points that need to be earned before being able to cash out is 12 times that of the amount won. Due to the above I have cancelled your request and returned the funds to your Poker Wallet. Should you require any further assistance please feel free to contact me at anytime. Kind regards, Jemma Risk&Fraud Analyst [email protected] Which in my opinion is :puke however as they no longer operate as Trillion after Monday - I would hope that the above is no longer relevant.:hope (-- Luckily Paul said the winnings were guaranteed --:))
avongirl
Re: End Of Poker Trillion In Current Guise IMO the game wasn't a true freeroll since you had to play at least 2 x $11 games to qualify for it. Might be worth telling them that.

Pursue the legal avenue, but don't bring members into it, when it doesn't concern them. I completely agree with you on this point, but Blonde did not take the correct route. I never received an email or phone call to talk about it first. They posted without my authorisation and that isn't right.

There's correct channels and he didn't choose the right one, which annoyed me greatly. As for being a bombastic dictator, well that really is the pot calling the kettle black :lol, but me and you have an understanding that other people don't see, we both know that. I just wondered why they would contact you, if it is the owners, if they wanted to post on their forum. Dont want a debate, just curious to how forums interact really
