Re: Nad Al Sheba 29/1/08 I follow the South African trainer Mike De Kock here as he always invariably gets a couple of big priced winners! Watch out for his today: Art of War 3.15 Brave Tin Soldier 3.45 Bennie Blue 4.50 Hunting Tower / Royal Vintage / Silver Mist 5.50 Saeed Bin Suroor's horses are always poor value and over backed against the form they have! :ok

Re: Nad Al Sheba 29/1/08 Combo of Owner Hamdan Al Maktoum and trainer E Charpy at Jebel Ali, Abu Dhabi & Nad Al Sheba. = 149931 Since 15Jan09, Hamdan Al Maktoum have just 2 wins, 1 second, and 2 third from 20 runners. 2 wins and 1 third from 6 runners trained by E Charpy looks like a good figure. Compare that to 0 win, 1 second and third from 14 from other trainers. They team up with 29Jan09 3:15 Tasteyville NAD AL SHEBA (Overnight), Dubal Ingot 1600 (Handicap) (Dirt) 1pt win @ 7-2 29Jan09 3:45 Ragheed NAD AL SHEBA (Overnight), Dubal Trophy (Handicap) (Turf) 1pt ew @ 33-1 29Jan09 4:15 Tawaassol NAD AL SHEBA (Overnight), Dubal Power Dash (Handicap) (Dirt) 1pt ew @ 14-1 29Jan09 5:50 Mashaahed NAD AL SHEBA (Overnight), Al Rashidiya (Sponsored by Dubal) (Group 3) (Turf) 1pt ew @ 25-1

Re: Nad Al Sheba 29/1/08 5:20 I like a few of these. Sanbuch looks on a pretty high mark, plus his comeback effort last week was assisted by a 10lb claimer, who steps down today and moves over to Al Shemali who does have slight stamina concerns, but he likes the course (winner at the carnival last year over 2f shorter) and a very encouraging comeback run last week in the Motors Trophy. I know people go on about jockey bookings etc. But in situations like this those claimed pounds could be absolutely vital and I've picked him up on Betfair at around 16/1.

Not this year. Everyone has opposed the Bin Suroor horses due to their poor form across here last season, and its the De Kock horses that are poor value due to his magnificent record at the festival. Its ended up that Bin Suroor has been firing in all the winners this year at nicer prices, and a lot of De Kock's short priced horses are flopping. :loon That has been the case so far this carnival anyway.
