skinnyman9000
Just a bit of pondering from me this afternoon as im off work today. Just wondering what different people look for in a system? Plenty of selections a day, or a few selections as possible? Do you aim for maximum profit every day, or have a set managable target? Just after some thoughts really. Personally im aiming for a system that requires as little operating as possible and returns just 2pts profit per day. 2pts per day can often be achieved with just 1 or 2 bets, and will return an average of 60pts a month. barrhead73
Re: What do you look for in a system? I look for a system where the yield is very similar for each season. A system that yields 30% in the football season 2007-08 might look great but if it yielded 2% in the previous season and -10% in the season before that then obviously the 30% yield was just good fortune. Consistency is the key. I would highlight Merlin's 3-0 system on the Return to Oz thread as the perfect example as he has consistently returned a yield of around 10% each season.
