We make sure to pick locations that have local attractions and adventures to engage in to enhance experience and provide for a synergy of stellar poker and fun. The PokerNews Cup Alpine is being set in the magical mountains of the Austrian Alps in Saalback-Hinterglemm (click for satellite view). PokerNews strives to deliver a stirring experience overall for our players. PokerNews CEO Damon Rasheed explains "It is our aim to take poker tournaments to the next level by providing qualifiers and guests with more than just a poker tournament, as such, PokerNews is delighted to have the next leg of the PokerNews Cup held at The Alpine Palace, the most exclusive venue to ever host a poker tournament." Damon practices what he preaches and delivers another great event. Everyone should play some Freerolls then pack some skis, snowboards and tournament strategy books! This series of tournaments at the will showcase eight events in total and will be running from March 21-28. The climax of the series will be the €10,100 High Rollers Event which will attract some stars! The bread and butter of this series will be a €1,500 Main Event which is sure to attract some great players from across Europe. In addition to the tournaments there will be some special activities available such as spa passes, ski passes and more... and don't forget about the spectacular resort players will be staying in! the view up there is unforgettable. There is going to be over €400,000 in packages given out to our players. Packages will include helicopter transport from the airport to the resort, a ticket to the main event, accommodations, ski passes, spa passes, top of the list for VIP parties and some cash for travel. Our pro reporting team will also be on hand to relay the details to the world! This is a trip you don't want to miss trying to win for free.
