Good luck people :hope 12-40 Chepstow

Bensalem won his bumper debut earlier this month at Sandown. Ground should suit as that was on soft and although not as soft there is still a fair amount of cut in the ground. Steps up to hurdles over a longer trip for a great chance.

Blue Monty finished 3^rd on his hurdling debut at Exeter lto. Ran promisingly and the step up in distance could bring out the best. Trainer is in pretty good form and runs with a 3lbs claimer on board.

Now Listen To Me is 1 of 2 good Nicholls runners in this with NLTM seeming to be the less fancied due to jockey booking. Finished 4^th on his only run in a pretty good bumper at Ascot.

King Fontaine is Nicholls 2^nd runner and with Sam Thomas on board is possibly the better of the 2. Has two bumpers under his belt finishing 3^rd and then 4^th lto at Uttoxeter. He showed pretty good potential lto, though could possibly do with a run.

L’eau Du Nil has some decent career form and comes into this after a 3^rd at Ludlow lto. 20furlongs seems to be about his best distance and although not ran much on this ground has decent form on it. Trainer decent form.

Decree Nisi goes here with a penalty though claimer offsets that a touch. Decent run lto when 3^rd at Towcester. Steps up in distance so will have to prove that he can stay the distance. Ground should be ok and has a chance.

Thursday’s Knight comes into this with the best form of all with a win & 4 places in his last 5 outings. Runs at his premium distance and ground should suit. Rated best with Decree Nisi but goes off 7lbs better off than his opponent.
