Bakbenscher 2.05 Ascot Racing Post comments say it only won narrowly last time out to a 100-1 shot but fail to mention the lack of pace in that race that clearly didn't suit this horse. Steps up in class from class 3 to class 2 but progressive profile and won 2 bumpers really comfortably. I know Alan King rates this horse and looks to have a touch of class about it, certainly one to keep an eye on and worth backing against another I'm following in Shoreacres but that will be a short enough price to avoid. Won over 17f last time out, goes over 2m today. Won on good ground last time out and expected good ground at Ascot, has also won twice on soft so any rain is not a hinderance. Needs to improve but going the right way.

Re: Best Bet Of The Day - Friday 21/11/08 1:15 Kelso Jass (BBOTD) Beaten 16L by According To Pete who has been in much better form going into that race. Drop in trip is something Jass will like as LTO was the farthest he's had to travel - 3m1f. Trainer K G Reveley has 1 chase win this year and that happened to be a distance dropper - 3m2f to 2m4f. Reveley also looks to be in good form having a winner and three thirds from the last four. 1pt win
