-Finishing 2^nd in 3 of her 4 hurdling starts Parlesotho makes her handicap debut and goes off as top weight. Has finished 2^nd in her last 3 starts; 2 of which being in class 4’s here in Britain. Should go well on the ground and the distance shouldn’t be a problem. King has a decent record here (27% win rate & 63% place rate) and is in quite good form currently.

-Crouch End Flyer has 12lbs on Parlesotho and won lto 171 days ago at Towcester. Was penalised 12lbs for that win though may still overcome it. Has good stamina so distance isn’t a trouble.

-Nearly a Breeze won lto 40 days ago at Exeter in a class 5 on similar ground as we have here. Was out for 17 months before that run and didn’t look to promising but came back and won well at Exeter. Has 10lbs on CEF due to a 10lbs claimer.

-Top weight Natoumba is up 1lb after his recent 3^rd at Towcester 22 days ago. Is a distance winner having won over hurdles at this distance. His lto was his chase debut and put in a decent run. Trainers also in pretty good form.

-Pop Ahead has ran off this mark (and 104) in his past 5 races and has only placed once (3^rd at Exeter last month) though the handicapper hasn’t dropped his rating. That 3^rd at Exeter though brings promise as the 2 he was beaten by have both gone on to win in class 3’s. If he can step up distance he has a great chance.

-CD winner Jacarado comes into this off the back of a win at Towchester 11 days ago. That was on similar ground as we have here and he remains at the same weight.
