Burnley Joe Posted November 14, 2008 Share Posted November 14, 2008 Sky Poker Tour announce Newcastle event The already hugely popular SkyPoker Tour announced the 4th leg of their UK tour, which will be held at the Aspers Casino on March 7th 2009. In addition to the £5000 prize pool, everyone at the final table will win a seat in the £25,000 main event in Nottingham. Representing Sky Poker on the day will be Norman Pace, Michelle Orpe, Richard Orford and Tony "Tikay" Kendall. I did always plan to speak to my work and book the dates off around it before playing but was just asking just in case. I should probably have worded my question better I realise. Any player who wins a seat for this game MUST be registered with sky poker to play the Sky Poker Tour. If you are not registered with Sky and win a seat we at Aspers will help you do this. These seats have a value of £55. The game will take place on Saturday March 7th and starts at 2pm. 5,000 starting stack and a 30 min clock, capped at 140 players and is a sell out. (which isnt bad considering i had 900 chips at 1st break with blinds 150/300) Blinds 4k/8k with 800 ante I have 35k Guy leads out with 25k and i look down at AKo and push, he calls and shows QQ K J 3 on flop 10 on turn 9 on river He rivers a strait and im gone Geordiegaz finished 6th for £420 and a seat at the Sky Poker Tour Grand Final at DTD as well He called as short stack with Qc5c and was up against A8o Flop 7h7d7c Turn 3c River Ac Gary has the Ace flush but the guy hits the full house with the ace Very fast structure but good play and good enjoyment all the same.
