13-10 Taunton

Quite open this with a few who could sneak it.

- Top weight Mickmacmagoole is a CD winner and at least has a couple of wins over hurdles and has won on similar ground in the past.

- Snake Charmer has had a couple of 4ths of off 3lbs higher though will have to go a lot better on his return.

- Veteren Better Moment ran a good race lto at Huntingdon, finishing 4^th but rightly being promoted to 3^rd after being run across. Remains off of same weight today so could be in contention. Pretty good hurdling record and record on G/S is: 14718163. Has won here and over this distance.

- Petrus De Sormain is yet to win a hurdle yet came close lto at Huntingdon. Is up 4lbs from that run and if he is ready will have a good chance. Record on G/S is 35903, so not the best.

Poor race with it hard to find anything that could win!

-Andrew Thornton is riding Keyneema who makes his chasing debut here. A couple of fourths was the best he could achieve over hurdles so will need to put in a performance here. Might well take to the fences though.

-Kinkeel is the oldest horse in the race at 9 years old and has by far the most chasing experience with 37 runs. Has had a total of 47 career runs and is yet to win one, though has looked better recently and runs off a very low mark here today.

-Compton star is a course winner here and makes his 7^th chase start. Is 4lbs better off since lto at Plumpton. Is rated 11lbs higher over hurdles so is pretty well handicapped for todays run.

There seems to be big support for Mr Parsons already on Betfair going from 21/2 at 21:30 into 41/10 as we speak! Maybe someone knows something and is past is hardly the cleanest after being DSQ for banned substances a couple of months ago. Worth keeping an eye on! ;)
