13-40 Fontwell

Aimigayle:

Fairly good hurdler, had an official rating peak of 120. Should like the stiff course here today. Ran 3 hurdle races on Good ground with 2 wins and a 3^rd, which was a class 1 race. Could run well today though trainer isn’t in brilliant form.

Katess:

Another fairly good hurdler here, finishing hurdling at a rating of 121, though she did struggle at that rating. Hasn’t the best of form on good ground winning only 1 and that was a pretty poor race, her other runs to be fair were all when she was rated 120ish. Highly regarded by Alan King and the booking of Robert Thornton is promising.

Owlesbury Dream:

Good record over hurdles with 4 wins and a place from 8 runs. Was rated 104 LTO when winning though could probably have been risen a few pounds. Has the size to get involved over fences and cannot be ruled out. Trainer in decent form & has a good record here at Fontwell. McCoy on board also who has a very good record here.

She’s Humble:

Has had 3 rides over fences and should probably of been placed in them all but she was badly hampered in her 2^nd run at Plumpton. Comes into this after a 2^nd in a class 4 behind Tempsford. Trainer has a slight record here though isn’t in great form. Moore has a good record here also.

Few potential winners here with Aimigayle & Owlesbury Dream with the best form over hurdles. Shes Humble has put in 3 decent runs over fences already, though will have to improve here. With McCoy on board, Owlesbury Dream gets selected.

Neutrino:

CD winner and runs off same mark as LTO at Ludlow, finishing 5^th. Maybe been caught by the handicapper at the present moment to really get involved here today.

Monzon:

Another CD winner though is in great form winning his last 2 outings. Is 5lbs up since LTO though he still looks pretty comfortable at this weight. Timmy Murphy has a good record here at Fontwell and could give him a good ride.

Iris’s Prince:

CD winner, hasn’t ran for 585 days. Last three runs read 122; on similar ground and over similar trip. Has been dropped 1lb since LTO and has a 7lbs claimer on board to make him lowest weight by a large margin. If he puts in a run today after a lengthy spell he will be hard to beat as he has placed at ratings as high as 109 and he theoretically runs at an 89 today which is the 3^rd lowest mark he has ran at.

Thought I might have found something special there in Iris’s Prince but he is priced up at 13/8! Thought he may have been a long shot due to the lengthy break! Neutrino is 7’s and Monzon 4’s. IP is hard to oppose due to being so low in the weights though.
