multi-result correct scores

For years now I have been scribbling calculations on bits of paper, trying to find a decent permutation that i can afford and which will give me a decent return. I am pretty new to the forum and understand that alot of you may think i am naive. I would much rather win a grand one week and lose £30 for the other 51 weeks of the year. Than win £2 every week. Unfortunately, organization is not my strongest assett, so, as i come up with anything half decent. i either can't afford the stakes that week or my head is just so full of numbers that i totally loose the plot and just don't bother. My first target was a 2-2 fourfold which yields around 30,000/1 but there aren't too many of them, which would mean covering the whole coupon (ouch). my most recent quest is to cover 2, 3, or possibly 4 diferent correct scores, probably being 1-0, 1-1, 2-1, 2-0. Obviously the aim is to cover as many matches as possible for an affordable stake, probably at 1p units. Are there any of you who have been down this road before and can therefore save me from certain insanity. Or are there any specific links i should be viewing.

not sure... It sounds like you are more interested in the thrill of a possible win than the job of making money - thats fine, as long as you are clear in your own mind! People here will generally advise you to go for singles rather than multiple bets, and to avoid correct score betting because of the high overround. Bearing the above in mind, just to save going out of your head, I would suggest sticking to a small number of games, maybe 4 or so and then perming the score combinations (e.g 4 x 4) from those. If necessary, if you have enough games then run several bets in parallel, e.g. if you have 8 games then run two 4x4's. There is some info on the football-punter site, linked at the bottom of the page, if you want to go this route.
