Best value way to get Dollars out of Site to UK

I want to get some money from a dollar account at Party Poker back to my day to day funds in UK pounds. What is the best way to minimize fees and conversion charges? I could convert my Party poker account to dollars but I wonder if PP's exchange rate £ 0.562 per dollar is worse than withdrawing in dollars and converting it back at the bank. - And does it vary depending on the site where one has funds in dollars e.g what is the best way to get dollars out of Full Tilt or Pokerstars. I was thinking of getting a Moneybookers account or something similar in dollars and just using that to put money back and forth between poker sites that only work in dollars, is that a good idea?
