How not to play

Theres no point to start "what do you do next", cause its all to obvious. This is not a bad beat tread. Its just to show how badly I played it. I played this hand like a total ponce. Don't know whats the purpose of this post, but some one can take something out of it. Me and Uber went to £25 freezout yesterday. 5k stack and 30 minutes blinds. This is 1st hand of the tournament and I get QQ. Guy under the gun raises 4x to 250 (25/50). Now, I know this guy, cause I played him few times in my town. He is solid, aggressive player. Mistake nr 1. I'm cut off +1 and I call. . Now I know I should re raise 100%. Flop comes A94. He fires 400. My instinct tells me right away, that he has no Ace. Mistake nr2. If I know he doesn't have it, why the hell I don't ask him questions. I flat call :$. (idiot) Turn is 9 and he checks. Mistake nr 3. Now I know 100% he has no Ace. Is he slow playing? No way. I cant put him on any cards with 9 included (unless he has (99). Now I narrow hes range to KQs, KJs or any pp from 99 to QQ. I don't feel he has KK. Yet again, when I know I got him beat, I'm not asking any question by betting and I check. :wall (moron). River brings 10 and he fires 1k. Now I haven't got a clue where I'm :unsure. I know he has no A or KK, so it looks like I have to call and I did. He showed 1010 :wall (clown) I have lost about 40% of my stack and I was doomed. Eventually I pushed over raise with my JJ and lost to AK on the river. Feel free to comment, criticize or call me names if you like :ok. As I stated already, there might be something to learn.

Re: How not to play Dont be too hard on yourself. If you know this guy is agreesive its a good chance for a double up here. I dont think the check behind on the turn is a bad a play as you think. It is probably the only way to get another bet out of him. This time he hit his 2 outer, most times when he doesnt he will still fire a bluff anyway.
