Cricket -India v Australia Test Series

Recommended Posts

As an Australian it hurts me to say this but - Australia have practically no chance of winning the upcoming test series against India. Australia simply don't have the bowlers to win. In the series against West Indies the Australian team struggled to get through a very poor West Indian Batting line up. India have two spinners who can win matches. It would be suprising if they didn't rip through the Aussies at least a few times in this series. Really it's a no brainer. Australia don't have 1 bowler who has played test cricket in India. They only have 2 world class bowlers and there is every chance they will struggle badly at times. Australia also doesn't have 1 decent spinner. We expect wickets from both Mitchell Johnson and whoever bowls spin will come at more than 45 runs a piece. Take a look at Jason Krejza's form against the Indian Board XI!!! Simply put you can't win a series in India with Brett Lee and Stuart Clark doing all the work. India whilst some of their batsmen are a little past their best have guys who can occupy the crease and get big scores. India will dominate this series as the Australians continue to go through their 'rebuilding phase' as ricky ponting put it. Back India to win the series at $2.15 with Betfair

Re: Cricket -India v Australia Totally agree with you BB. India won 2 Tests in Australia last time around. And Australia minus Symonds will have to rely on Clarke and Katich as backup spin options. I really can't see the Aussies bowling out the Indians twice. $3.50 for India to win the first Test on Betfair seems too good to be true for mine. Agree with India to win the Series as well. Good luck everyone.
