In here please :ok

Tonights focus game is on William Hill - at the end of the tournament you get a pop up box with "Key hands for review" - I think it's a really good idea from crypto to do that - lets try and take advantage - when I'm eliminated tonight I will post all my hands that the software puts up for "review" - think it would be great if a few of us could do that :ok That way we're not picking and choosing hands to brag with or bad beats - but instead the critical/big pots that make or break our tourney :ok

I find it quite difficult to articulate my thought process when analyzing Hand History, which is why i don't contribute much in here, but i do love reading it. I guess i'm more of a "feel" player and this play just "felt" right. I've never noticed anyone being overly slagged/slated about a hand they've posted, but i suppose that's down to how an individual interprets someone elses written word. Without more info on the player and your image up to then in the first hand it's probably a good fold. You've shown strength pre flop then on 2 streets and the guy still wants to commit his tournament, it's likely to be with a Q, likely something like QTc.
My image was probably fairly tight, mainly because I'd been concentrating on another tournament until shortly before this hand. For the same reason, I didn't really have much info on the other player.

Re: Key hands from tonights focus game ah well- my absolute muppetry with all things IT is out in the open - enough to say i tried a squeeze play when i landed qq on the bb and a small stack went all in and got 1 caller - he called me with ak and hit the ace origionally i considered this to be terrible play by me - but after cooling off a bit i can see that what i was doing was the correct play imo - trying to isolate the small stack - my mistake was committing all my chips - 9000 odds at the time - the small stack had 1500 so the pot was sitting at about 4k so i could have put out a scare em off type bet of 4000 allowing me to fold if i see the ace - any feedback would be very welcome - cheers

Not me - I'd have done exactly the same :ok Remember too - your QQ is a slight favourite against AKo - it's not the 50%:50% it's reputed to be....

You have 5-1 in express odds - if you're "set mining", you probably have the odds - if you hit your set you need to get another 3,750 or so out of the other players - which I think most of the time you will do ..... 3 undercards is a bonus (more unlikely than hitting your set? though less secure), but with that flop the shove is an absolute no brainer... I still think I prefer the shove pre flop though - your 99 is almost certainly the best hand - you dont really want to be up against 2 opponents (with overcards on the flop) and your M is down to 4 - maybe you get hands like TQ to fold, which you are only a flip with - if they fold, you pick up 4500 (75% increase to your stack) risk free without a race....
