Re: Southwell 26/9 1.50 Southwell: Laoch Dhubh Charlie Mann's string appear to be in good form just now with a 1st and 2nd from his last 2 runners and he goes in with 2 in the opener at Southwell today. Jazz Dance with Noel Fehily on has obvious claims of following up it's LTO victory here over 2m5f, however, I think the value lies with his other horse Laoch Dhubh ridden by Davie Crosse. When last seen over this distance in these ground conditions in July at Uttoxeter ran out a convincing winner by 15lengths. That form has been franked in no uncertain terms: 4th home that day (36l adrift) was Notre Cyborg who won at Perth this week but more importantly the 2nd home that day was Kirby's Vic who went on to win twice subsequently - the 2nd of those victories beating 2 of Laoch Dhubh's rivals today - Genghis & Waterspray. Strictly on a line through that horse, Laoch Dhubh should have the beating of the pair and must be considered the value of the race.Each Way at 14/1 (SportingBet)
