Systems League 2003 - 2004

The rules have been updated for this season, please check the thread containing last season's league table. We have been offered £200 prize money for the systems league this year by our sponsor, nobookie. There are many ways to judge a system and no doubt you will have your own ideas. If we can get a consensus on how this should be done then the prize money will be available. Please give your opinions on how the systems should be judged, e.g. by yield, profit or any other means you can think of.

Re: Systems League 2003 - 2004 Why not start everyone with the same bank Odds such as 100 units and then award points for both yield and also for overall profit. Say the top 5(or 3?) punters get 5 points for being top in each category so if for example you were top in both profit and yield you would get 10 points. I think you’ll find it hard to get agreement on profit or yield as I don’t even agree with myself sometimes :o Can you enter more than once? With initial teething (ahem) problems hopefully sorted out I hope to have a slightly more successful tennis thread and I’d also like to do a system based yet again on Paul Steele’s book (huge nod of thanks to my 2 silent Lounge collabortors on that for their massive input on that).
