Okay, this is a blatent rip-off of other threads of a similar theme, but as it's the start of the season I thought I'd share it with you..Me and my workmates have set up a gambling synidicate (5 of us putting in a tenner each), and we are investing the £50 in a single game of odds between evens and 6/4. Each time we win (!) it is reinvested for a maximum of five bets when we should hit our target of £1000.. Sounds soooooo easy in theory.. Anyhow first bet is Forest to beat Sunderland at 6/5..Sunderland are in freefall and Forest are one of the quality sides in the division..Will we last 5 bets?? And will we have the bottle to totally reinvest!!!???????

bottle and probability No and no. If I was you I'd give £40 to charity and put £10 in the lottery - that way someone other than the bookies will benefit.
