Picking Bets

I've found that I have greatest success picking my bets quickly upon first viewing. Of course it's wise to check if there are any major stories surrounding the side, but I've noticed many people making in-depth analyses of teams on here only for someone to make a similarly insightful recommendation for the other team to win. The two times I've won big (I place around £20 usually on fourfolds on six or seven results), this is what I've done. The times when I've relied on reading up on team news and form and trends between the sides - or relied on the posts of others who have looked at these things - I haven't done so well. I'm more of a hunch better, so if I don't offer reasons for betting I'm sorry. It's just the way I bet. I know this is somewhat frowned upon but I'm just explaining before being criticsed for giving you all a reason wrt to team news why picked one side and not another.

Re: Picking Bets All I am saying is that it is moderately easy to give a decent reason for any result. Do we really base our decisions on those reasons, or go with our hunches and THEN try and back them up to make ourselves feel better?
