Back and lay same selection

What are the kind of games to look out for that decrease in price, so you back them at a high price early in the week and lay them off nearer the game using an exchange. Has anyone got a system for this kind of bet? Anyone had any experience in doing this regularly

Re: Back and lay same selection i have played with this method on tennis but not football! when doing so i would back both players and lay both players looking for a 10% win whatever the outcome. i actually had 100% record [about 15 games] when i was doing it but i must confess i got bored with it! i think it might be hard to gauge which football teams will shorten in price as the week progresses - team news, injuries, money piled on one outcome all take their toll on the price! and if you want to only back one outcome you would have to back it big in order to lay it off and guarantee a return whatever the outcome - it's no good backing and laying the same stake on a single outcome as you only win then if your selection actually comes in and needless to say you will be kicking yourself for trading out of the bet! not sure if that helps but!
