2.30 Redemption has risen slightly on his G&D win back in may and has gone up in class but could be still strong enough to win this contest, Critical Stage looks to have a better opportunity than the first mentioned and his 2nd in a Class 3 race looks like great form to go into this race 2lbs down. Advice Merry Storm 1 Point Win. 4.15 Rory Boy looks to be a improving sort for the Twiston Davies team and he has got to cope with a rise in the weights but his 7 length win last time out looks strong enough for him to win this. Advice Rory Boy 1 Point Win. 4.50 Najca De Thaix should relish this ground and has won 3 times on it and won of those wins he carried top weight at 11-12 now 10lbs down on that form and could win this with jam packed having to cope with 10lbs more. Advice Najca De Thaix 1 Point Win. 5.20 Hard race to pick the outcome of but Rabbit could run a big race on his Jump form has Won a Class 4 race a couple of years back and has ran some creditable races of late and looks to have the best form on the rest in a week race. Re: Stratford 21/08/08 I will be having a little each way on Zeloso at 50/1. My reasoning is...although he didn't run well on his return to hurdling last time out, this is a particularly fragile field with the 13yo Redemption running 4 days after winning comfortably. He's old and the heavy ground might take it out of him. Soviet Sceptre is also far from a place shoe-in returning to hurdles today after a spell on the flat. Critical Stage seems the most likely winner, but there are some places up for grabs I feel and Zeloso may run into one if he runs like he can.
