Goin for Anfield Road in Gowran Pk 7.50, Being a liverpool fan it caught the eye, i like the Charles O'Brien/Fran Berry combo,i backed on its last outing at 20/1 ,wasnt given a hard time when a staying on second to a well regarded sort Ballyhaunis, given that liverpool are playing tonight its a sign!! ;)

Re: Best Bet Of The Day Wednesday 13/08/08 Salisbury 4.05: Basque Beauty Made a nice start to career at Newmarket last Aug in soft ground maiden over inadequate (on breeding) 7f when finishing strongly for 3rd. Couldn't have been more impressive on seasonal reappearance at Ascot in July when winning very easily over 8f to break maiden tag. This step up in trip sure to suit and any softening of ground shouldn't inconvenience. The trainers of the last 10 previous winners of this race have been Newmarket based and 9/10 winners have returned at a price no greater than 13/2 - both trends fit this horse unless price changes (currently best price 9/2). In my opinion Cape Amber will be the biggest danger. WIN
