converting probabilities to fractional odds for my project

Hi, I need some help with my final year computer science project. My system has calculated the probabilities for the result of a football match as follows: Home win: 0.43 Away win: 0.29 Draw: 0.28 How do I convert these probabilities into the traditional fractional odds you see in the bookies? Many thanks, Lee

Re: converting probabilities to fractional odds for my proje Lee, I hope this is what you mean. A 43% chance of winning = 1/0.43 = 2.32558 in decimal odds 43% = 2.32558 = 1.32558/1 or 11/8 rounded up 29% = 3.44828 = 2.44828/1 or 12/5 rounded down 28% = 3.57143 = 2.57143/1 or 13/5 rounded up Think I've done all the sums right;) Why do you want to convert the probabilities into fractions? Using decimal odds would be easier and more accurate. Norfolk
