I've spent the winter back testing various strategies to put in place for the new season - painful experience I might add - but potentially worth it - we'll see. Interested to know other experiences to see if they overlap with mine. There are many considerations based on power ratings, pitchers, home advantage, streaks, game times, thought i might try and developer something similar to the Football Power Ratings by Andrew Hobbs? but for Baseball (somehow) using variuos criteria and weightings - don't ask quite how yet!!
