While most people sit motionless in front of their TVs watching the action from Beijing with longing eyes and tired muscles, Devilfish Poker players will be proving their reputation as online poker’s strongest, fittest and sharpest players by competing in the Devilympics. Taking place at the same time as the little known “Olympics” the world famous Devilympics will determine poker’s greatest athlete across 75 Money-Added Tournaments (5 a night for 15 nights). At the end of the series the top three Devilympians will take their places on the podium where they will be presented with huge cash prizes: €5,000 for Gold (1st); €3,000 for Silver (2nd); and €2,000 for Bronze (3rd). Points will be awarded for every final table made with extra points earned for achieving the Gold, Silver and Bronze medal positions in each tournament. The Devilympics launches on the 8th August with the Opening Ceremony €1,000 Devilympics Freeroll Bounty at 8.30pm (9.30pm CET). This grandiose celebration of poker athleticism is Free to Enter for all Devilympians and boasts a prizepool of €1,000. Dave ‘Devilfish’ Ulliott will be on hand to launch the games with a €250 Bounty awarded to the player who knocks him out of this prestigious tournament. The Devilympic spirit will continue throughout the following two weeks until the 24th August when the Devilympics comes to an end with the Closing Ceremony €1,000 Devilympics Freeroll Bounty. Dave ‘Devilfish’ Ulliott will be there to say farewell to the games and will once again be playing with a €250 Bounty on his head.

Every player who makes the final table of any of our Devilympics tournaments (excluding the opening and closing freerolls) will earn points towards the Devilympics Leaderboard. At the end of the 75 tournaments the three players who have earned the most points will share €10,000 between them with €5,000 for Gold, €3,000 for Silver and €2,000 for Bronze.

You can keep track of who is leading the race for the medals from our Player Leaderboard in the column on the left hand side of the page as well as seeing which country has earned the most medals from the Countries Leaderboard on the right hand column.

The Not-So-Small Print 1. Any players found guilty of collusion will be disqualified from the Devilympics as well as having their Devilfish Poker account permanently closed. 2. Cash prizes are awarded to the three players with the most points earned from the 75 qualifying tournaments. In the event of a tie prizes will be divided accordingly. 3. Prizes for Gold,Silver and Bronze will be added to the winning players' accounts within 48 hours of the end of the final Devilympics tournament. 4. Devilfish Poker reserves the right to alter or cancel this promotion at any time. 5. In the result of any dispute over points totals the decisions of Devilfish Poker will be final.
