Claim (er) to fame

This system will be quite similar to Ralphies Quick System in the way it focuses on horses running quickly after a winning appearance but focuses on the effect of claimers and aims to see if their claims really affect the horses chance of winning and if the claim of 5lbs for example can help negate the extra 6lbs or so it may carry as a penalty. It will be based on flat racing only for now and only handicap racing in England. I'll run it for about a month just to see what results are like initially. System A will be horses carrying a penalty that are ridden by a claimer this time but were ridden by a normal jockey last time out, effectively using the claimer to negate the extra weight. System B will be horses ridden by a normal jockey this time but were ridden by a claimer last time out. System C will be horses ridden by a claimer both last time out and this time out regardless of 3lb, 5lb, 7lb claim etc. System D will be horses ridden by a normal jockey last time out and this time out. System starts 4th August 2008, all bets are 10pts win and a running total will be kept for each system. If there are more than two that fit the criteria in the race then 10pts on each. 04/08/08 Carlisle 8.45 Feeling Fresh (System A) Mandalay King (System C) Ripon 4.45 Master Nimbus (System B) Windsor 7.30 Border Owl (System A) Windsor 8.30 Linda Green (System D)

04/08/08 Carlisle 8.45 Feeling Fresh (System A) 4th :( Mandalay King (System C) 2nd :( Ripon 4.45 Master Nimbus (System B) 3rd:( Windsor 7.30 Border Owl (System A) Non runner Windsor 8.30 Linda Green (System D) 1st at 3-1 :)
Will put up tomorrows in a moment and update all results at the end of the week, just to point out this is a paper trial only, no real money involved and all banks start at 100pts per system.
