Short odds

I'm not sure about this but would I be correct in assuming that the shorter the odds the less fluctuation in your betting bank.The theory being that shorter odds win more often.

To my mind it is yield that counts. for example Epl 03/04 a) odds range 1.6 or less longest losing run 4 bets 74 wins 45 str rate 61.5% yield - 11.3 b) odds range 2.15-2.50 inc. longest losing run 7 bets 74 wins 38 str rate 51.3% yield + 17.0%
