Regarding Arbs

I realise that arbitage is not the holy grail of betting but would we be able to use it another way? If you could gather all the arb opportunities in a week-say 8-12 matches ,which might work out at 250-300 matches per year and back the outcome that has value ; should we not break even or better still be in profit? At the very worst your negative yield should decrease because of the lack of overround.I also know we should concentrate on favourites or short prices but that price should contain value and not just backed because it’s a favourite.What does anyone think?
