I'll add the other NL handicaps to this post tomorrow night once they are all out. Only 2 books have given Super League handicaps so far so I'll adjust any changes tomorrow but I thought I'd get a thread started for everyone to get their teeth stuck into :ok.

Re: Rugby League - Super League Round 21 & NL 1+2 I will get my teeth in first as I like a few bets this weekend but again I feel the rain may ruin them as I want to give start away. St Helens v Castleford This would be a very large bet for me if the weather is o.k and as expected St Helens put a good side out from the start. Firstly even though there is no relegation Castleford do still pick the games they think they will win and surrender a lot when they don't. The reason being that with the franchise coming out soon they still want to look competitive and win their share of games. St Helens do have the cup coming up but they stated last week that they need to keep this momentum going into the game and can't slack off as they don't want to have to turn it back on again and this is what they did against Harlequins last week even though they had the game sewn up. The weather is suppose to be rain and clearing up later, as soon as I see the weather then I will be on if it is o.k. Selection St Helens -26 10/11 8pts Leeds v Huddersfield I went to the Hudds v Bradford game last week and to be honest it was two poor sides and the first thought was back against Huddersfield against next week and I expected to have to give more start. I feel Leeds may take out the Wigan loss on my home team. I am not sure on Leeds attitude to the cup, so I wont be backing as big as the St Helens game, but I do really like the bet and will be having an average sized bet on this game. Selection Leeds -18 10/11 5pts Warrington v Bradford I did tip buying the points in the Warrington game last week and there was 82 points. Because I was unsure of the weather I did not have the bet. The same applys again with the uncertainty about the weather and as bad as Bradford was last week I don't like backing Warrington giving start as they let so many points in, this is something the new coach can't seem to change. I am very tempted to give the 6 start but again I will wait until I see what the weather is like and buy Warringtons points in the game, then it makes no difference to how many they let in. Selection Weather permitting buy Warringtons points at around 30 Catalans v Harlequins Harlequins seem to have gone off the boil a bit, but they have had some injury problems and have a few out again for this game. It took me a couple of losing bets to finally realise that this year the Catalans are a good side not only at home but away. But they do put teams to the sword at home as the other teams don't seem to travel well down there and they have the conditions that really suit them and would I be very suprised if they don't cover the handicap and I will be backing the Catalans to decent stakes. Selection Catalans -14 10/11 8pts Halifax v Leigh I have been waiting for Halifax to be on the T.V for ages so I could buy the points as their average is around 65 a game. But rain is forecast and the bet has gone so I will be just watching the game and seeing if anything jumps out at me unless the weather forecast is wrong and then I will buy the points, but it looks a no bet. I will post again when the lower leagues come out, as there are one or two interesting ones down there. Anyway those I my views on the games so far, lets hope we all have a week like last week :ok
