How many actually use systems?

Do many of you bet with systems or do you prefer just looking at every horse? Or do you do something else?

Re: How many actually use systems? Martin I use a few systems for my horse racing bets. The systems select the horses to play in each race. Then I apply a staking strategy to each selection. The staking strategies take into account the historical performance of each system and the capital I have allocated for each system. I play hockey and baseball the same way. I have to say that the real key is the staking strategy. It imposes discipline on my wagering. I also try not to let personal opinion get in the way of the system selections as I find, in the long run, that my emotions are not a good judge of sporting events!
