morlspin Posted July 7, 2008 Share Posted July 7, 2008 With the anouncement today that the next Virgin Festival will be held at Loose Cannon in London on the very same date we have our PL World Series of Poker at Dusk Til Dawn, Im gutted and disappointed to have to make our members choose which event they attend.:sad I have spoken to Joe and Ollie in person in Las Vegas and they said they couldnt move their date as there were other events on in the weeks before and after the 27/28th Sept.....which just happen to be other forums events 1 - 7 Sep [GUKPT]>Grosvenor UK Poker Tour - Leg 7, Bolton 14-15 Sep is Punterslounge Race day in Stratford 17-21 Sep Gala Casinos Poker Tour - Liverpool (GPBT), 20-21 Sep Is Blonde Forums Waterford Bash 1-5 Oct is EPT - London, London 2 - 5 Oct Ladbrokes Poker Festival Kilarney 2008 , Killarney 4 - 5 Oct APAT Masters Pro-Am, Luton13 - 19 Oct [GUKPT]Grosvenor UK Poker Tour - Leg 8, Ramsgate I would never usually ask players to pass up value to play in other events, but as you can see by the calander above, we dont have a weekend spare where we can move our event too, and it will also cost us money to do so, which also means less chance we can host an event. I PROMISE to get added value into the PL WSOP and hopefully will have some news in the next few weeks as to what that could be. Will be at least a month away yet but no reason why i shouldn't have it sorted by late september!.
