Even / Odd betting

Curious to hear if anyone flutters on the odd/even betting card available on English football ? On the surface this looks like a classic flip of the coin gamble but it just struck me that the probability of even is much higher than an odd score line, which isn't totally reflected in the odds.... Coral's go blanket 1.95 on odd scorelines and 1.85 on even. Considering any draw is even and the most goals in a game normally tops out a 6 it just seems a little lopsided ?? For example there are 8 possible even wins upto 6 goals: 0-0, 1-1, 2-2, 3-1, 4-0, 4-2, 3-3, 2-0, 5-1 and only 5 possible odd: 1-0, 2-1, 3-2, 4-1, 5-0, also I would venture to guess that 0-0, 1-1, 1-0 are probably the 3 most likley scores .. anyone have any data to support this ??? In Oct EPL fixtures there have been 13 even and only 7 odd since the start of Oct.... which based on a 2pt bet per game would yield 8 pts profit. So basically I'm going to start a system this weekend until the end of Nov to see if this pattern rings true

Re: Even / Odd betting just realised I missed the 3-0 option and miscounted the even permatations which makes it 6 odd and 9 even although I'm sure both 5-0 and 5-1 are very rare scorelines. Off to do some historical analysis :sleeping
