draw no bet as valid option

Recommended Posts

Recently I've shifted over to a new style of football betting. Years ago I'd focus on the short priced heavy favorites. However, the payoff was too low over the long term. So, of late I've been focusing on teams that are at home against a slightly weaker opponent. Thus, my usual odds are in the 2.20 to 2.60 region. However, it seems that often if the team I'm backing doesn't win, they don't lose much either, a draw is a very common occurence. Thus, I've been doing a lot of draw no bet wagers, and of my last 15 or so bets, I've lost maybe 3, drawn about 5, won about 7. I think psycologically its helpful to only lose your bet when your team actually loses, even though of course when you win your payout is substantially less because your smaller side bet loses.
