Spooner Posted June 16, 2008 Share Posted June 16, 2008 14:30 - Simarian 6/4 (Various) This should go in again today, Was very impressive at Hexham on Derby day (Probably got overlooked), Only doubt is one of the newcomers could be a decent horse but it will have to be something as Simarian looks like being a very classy horse. The horse ran string of four 2nds last autumn and returned with a win after 6 months break off just 2lbs lower at Towcester two races ago. He was disappointing next time, but against better horses. Conditions are in his favour today and this track will suite more. Back in his grade as well. Paddy Brennan rides well for this trainer, and the yard is not in bad form either with two 2nds and a winner lately. An e/w punt at 15/2 with odds guarantee looks a terrific value. The highest rated of these on the flat and trainer often does well with juvenile hurdlers. Tony McCoy, who has fair strike-rate for this yard in recent seasons takes the ride.
