Reasoning	Bettini hasn't had a win so far this season and will be keen to rectify this. Today's stage offers a great opportunity for him to do so with an 800m uphill finish. He won the main group sprint yesterday and should have the legs to defeat the likes of Di Luca and Ricco on a finish that clearly isn't suited to the sprinters of the ilk of McEwen or Bennati.

Reasoning	The final stage of the Giro is a very flat time trial and ideally suits Millar. He has stated that he wants to win this stage and has even gone so far as to say "it's mine". The last time he went on the record as going after a stage win it was in the Tour De France last year, where he got in a breakaway and would have been in the winning break had it not been for an Astana blitz in the crosswinds. He was unlucky in an earlier Giro stage and I think he's a big chance of extracting revenge today and taking the final stage.
