HABSHAN - 30/04/08

After taking a really keen hold early on at the rear of this very competitive 17 runner field, Habshan travelled very strongly and stayed on well in the final furlong under tender handling. This was a very promising first run of the season as the ground was soft and this horse has only ever won on good to firm or firmer in the past. He was also running off 84, a higher handicap mark than he has ever won off before. All bodes well for a return to the winner's enclosure during his favoured time of year in June or July. source:- keirenfallon.co.uk
