Doh CORK ALL STAR 3.05 PUNCHESTOWN <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> Although favourites have won 4 of the last 5 runnings of this race, Cork All Star has a piece of form which puts him in with a right shout here. Probably only three to get serious with here as the rest of the field have a lot to prove at this level. Four of the last five winners have finished first or second in the Royal Bond Hurdle at Fairyhouse in December and Cork All Star finished second to Muirhead with Jered 17ls behind off levels. On a line through Sizing Africa he has the beating of FiveForThree. Made In Taipan was a well beaten horse behind Cork All Star when falling at the last in a race won by Padydeplasterer. Jered will probably get closer to Cork All Star today on this faster ground but I feel he is far too short to consider. Hard to see Cork All Star out of the frame here. MUCHO LOCO 5.55 TOWCESTER From the sublime to the ridiculous but Much Loco is way over priced here. He has only ran over hurdles 7 times and at this level he has ran well over 16 to 18 furlongs. He has kept on at the end of those races suggesting a stiff track might be the answer. Curtis had a couple of placed horses at Plumpton yesterday and he might just have another one here. Quote
