3.20 Wolverhampton. Straight Face. Lay. (Racing Post SP 4/1) Been in good form recently, and has deserved his wins. However, last time the weights and race make up got the better of him, and with this being a slightly tougher race today, plus having to pull at 'least' his best to be getting involved in the finish, it does look a tough ask for him. Jamie Spencer rode last time and held him up, which was different to leading when winning before, so difficult to know what tact will be used today, but working out at either angle suggests he's going to need to be at 'least' at his best to be getting involved in the finish. Several runners would be having more of a chance on the bare form and weights combined, so all in all he'd be a lay much more than a play at the 4/1 sp. If he goes and wins, then I'll be the first to say well done...

Re: BEST BET OF THE DAY ~ Mon 14th April my best bet of the day would to lay after the show 400 winds. racing post fc 11-4. in decent enough form recently, but im bit taken back by why they drop in trip today to 5f? not anywhere near as good over such a sharp trip, and others look more at home. has to be a lay at 11-4 fc price.
