Narrowed this down to 4 - Our Kes, Merrymadcap, Mandalay Prince and Classic Blue, with preference for the latter. Has been running well at Wolverhampton of late and finally got up the LTO, albeit at a shorter distance but looked as though she could do with further. Only lost to Mandalay Prince by 1.5 lengths 2 starts ago and seems to be definitely one open for improvement. Classic Blue E/W @ SP

Going for a nice outsider here, namely Altenburg. Still a maiden after 5 attempts at all codes and returning after a hefty lay off after reportedly breaking a blood vessel, nevertheless he has had some encouraging runs in the past - 4th from 10 at class 5 at Newmarket to name but one. If fit then I think Altenburg could run into a place at least. Altenburg E/W @ SP
