Is ground at Aintree good?

I know ground is shown good at RP, but is it good in reality? Lots of rain was expected overnight. How is the situation this morning? I will appreciate the news from you guys in England, who can watch the morning reports on telly or hear them on the radio :ok

Re: Is ground at Aintree good? Hi mileni I live 2 miles down the road from Aintree and we had some rain overnight but not as much as was anticipated. It DEFINITELY is not good ground as advertised and i would say your looking at soft ground maybe good patches here and there depending on Aintree's drainage! The last week or so has been wet in these parts as my garden was flooded. Look for horses who can handle softer than good conditions. :ok
