Tue 1st April Best Bet of the Day (BH) Impressive start to the month, long may it continue. We had 6 winners and 4 successful Lays, the best of the day was Hoprock who had a 9/2 winner closely followed by Cassius Marcellus with a 4/1 winner. Billy The Punter could be a threat to all in his first full month and kicked off with a nice 6/4 winner. The three other winners all went for the good thing of the day King Jack, who scraped home at 1/3, Rainbow, Verismilitude and BH were the ones sweating. The layers were out in force today, the usual suspects Jack and Falbrav kept up their impressive records, Milen also went for the Lay option with some success and perhaps the best Lay was by new tipster Zero, he went against an Even money fav at Wetherby and was spot on. Welcome to the comp! Just a word for one of the losers, Willster made a great case for his selection at 5/1 only to be done a sht hd by a 66/1 rag, dont you just hate it when that happens! Southwell Cassius Marcellus had the first winner in the thread. His Rebel Duke won at 4/1. Price was far bigger at Betfair earlier, when he gave the tip. The same horse was also backed by Billy The Punter, who also had Benandonner in the 4.45 winning at 6/4. Folkestone SmallTimePunter was unlucky with his fancy in the 2.20 beaten by a short head. Willster tipped a very good thing in the 5.05 race, but was so unlucky. A 66/1 rag went on to beat his selection by a short head too. Falbrav's layed favorite lost though. And Billy The Punter had a nice place in the same race.

Re: ATR Review ~ April 08 Wed 2nd April Best Bet of the Day No the best of days with just 2 winners from Welshman and the newcomer Swain (:welcome to the comp and to ATR in general ;) ) The usual laying suspect Falbrav had a successful lay. Catterick Young Veteran was unlucky with his 50/1 shot in the last. He finished 3rd, but a N/R reduced the runners to 7 and the places to 2. Nottingham No winner here I'm afraid. Flat can be tricky when there is no form. But I am sure winners will come soon. Lingfield Fintron tipped a nice winner in the 4.30. Falbrav had a successful lay with the fav well beaten at 2/1. Kempton Some hard luck stories with plenty of 2nd placed efforts at good prices.
