morlspin Posted March 23, 2008 Share Posted March 23, 2008 Cincinnati Team Event will take place on Thursday 15th May 2008 at 7pm 25 teams of 4 players Entry £200 + £12 per team 1st Round - Ten sit n go’s tables of 10 players, in which no player from the same team will be at the same table. Players will play down to a finish in which finishing position will be crucial in terms of team points. Each player starts with 4000 chips 1st 20Pt's + £50 2nd 15Pt's 3rd 12Pt's 4th 9Pt's 5th 7Pt's 6th 5Pt's 7th 4Pt's 8th 3Pt's 9th 2Pt's 10th 1Pt's Individual prizes of £50 will be awarded to table winners Round 1, League winners gain automatic entry to Heads Up Final. Teams finishing 2nd to 11th enter the playoff stage. Teams finishing 12th to 25th are eliminated. (Satellite’s for the following evening’s £100 freezeout will be running) 20 min blind levels 2nd Round - Playoff’s - The Playoff will be 4 tables of 10, containing one player from each team Starting chips will depend on 1st round league finishing position. 2nd 6k 3rd 5.5k 4th 5k 5th 4.5k 6th 4k 7th 3.5k 8th 3k 9th 2.5k 10th 2k 11th 1.5k Point’s will be allocated as follows - 1st 20Pt's 2nd 15Pt's 3rd 10Pt's 4th 7Pt's 5th 5Pt's 6th 4Pt's 7th 3Pt's 8th 2Pt's 9th 1pt 10th 0Pt's No points will be carried over from the 1st Round. 20 min blind levels Round 2, League winners gain entry to Heads Up Final Heads-Up Final – The final consists of two 4 man teams playing heads up in 4 individual ties. Each player gets 7.5k chips. First team to win 3 ties’ win . In the event of a 2-2 tie, a heads-up tie will take place to decide the winners. 15 min blind levels Prize Money 1st 66.6%, of remaining prize pool. ( £3000 if 25 teams enter ) 2nd 33.4%, of remaining prize pool. ( £1500 if 25 teams enter ) 1st Round Table winners 10 x £50 = £500 In the event of any tie (excluding the Final), one member of each team will be nominated for a one off 2000 chip 10 min clock playoff.
