Boscobel 5.55 Nad Al Sheba Slight concern on its return as its last run of the season in the Leger looked like something was wrong with the horse, it finished last and was beaten a long way. Has some excellent form before that when it was still with Mark Johnstone, 4th in Irish Derby behind Soldier of Fortune and Eagle Mountain, Prince Erik was in 6th in that race and that won a decent Irish hurdle race recently. Royal Ascot winner beating Lucarno by a length which then went on and won the Leger that it ran so poorly in. Suited by this type of trip and is a distance winner, now gone to Godolphin who are in great form here so far and has Dettori on board suggesting it is stables 1st choice from their 3 runners. Has Lucky Find to beat and that is proven here (course and distance winner 21 days ago) but that form may be a bit suspect with Yasood in 4th that day so the vote goes to Boscobel. 1st run on dirt but has won on varying surfaces at Lingfield, Kempton and Wolverhampton. Currently 3-1, worth taking at that price.

Re: Nad Al Sheba 07/02/08 Greek Well 6.30 Nad Al Sheba (Each Way) Won twice over 10f at class 4 level in June 2007, both at Sandown. Stepped up to class 2 but over 9f on heavy ground and got hampered 2f out. It was then 5th in another class 2 handicap at Goodwood, not finding much room but also fading away, yet only beaten about 3 lengths and raced prominently. It was tried in a 1st time visor at York and won over 10f, this time being held up for a late run. 3rd after this in a 10f class 2 handicap and finally 20th of 34 in the Cambridgeshire but holding up a horse in a 34 runner race is going to take some luck in running and Pipedreamer was different class that day, also held up on the far side but not as far back. Has left Stoutes yard, makes it debut for new trainer and he has decided to leave the visor off this time. Runs tonight on good ground and record on that surface is 3 wins and 1 second from 6 races. Can't fancy The Illies as it is more of a 1m horse and has no proven form over the 10f trip. Each way on Greek Well is the preferred choice.
