3.20-JOHNSTON LAD 12/1 E/W His last two runs on the all weather in Ireland have been good over 6f and the last one he meet a bit of trouble in running.Now drops a furlong i don't that will be a problem as he has won over 5f.I can see this Irish trained horse going close today and 12/1 is a nice price.

Re: Lingfield 02/02 I absolutely agree! 3.20 Lingfield - Johnstown Lad E/W I always pay attention when a trainer from Ireland comes to the all weather tracks in England. This one performed great in his two AW appearances in Ireland finishing 3rd at 25/1 and then 2nd at 6/1, where he was just outstayed in the final furlong. A 5f winner and on the evidence of the last run a switch to 5f is logical and after 2 months break the horse comes fresh here and being 4yo a great deal of improvement could be expected. Certainly worth a try @16/1 @ BlueSquare.
