3.25 Fontwell - Strolling Vagabond The Pipe jolly is well fancied, but will run with a penalty and the race might come too soon for it and 3m3f will be a definite test of stamina. Strolling Vagabond made a good chaser and has 3 wins at Fontwell last season. All 3 are around this distance and horse can win on heavy, soft, good to soft and good. Stays on any ground. Most recently won off 7lb higher on good ground. After 2 PU's finished 3rd at Plumpton last month and is now fit. The second from this race won since. Still ahead of the handicapper for this hurdling effort on chasing form. Always ridden by this jockey and with great success. Last but not least has done all his winning between December and March.

Re: Fontwell - 3rd January Fontwell 15:25 - Strolling Vagabond 5/1 E/W I have to go with this horse for a couple of reasons: it's wins are usually around this time of year, (I don't know why) I like horses with recent PU's and it might go all the way today. The reason I'm not on pitful tercah it's because I rarelly support favorites, and Pitful opened around 11/8 which I think doesn't represent value.
